Director of Home Building

Jill Abla specializes in market analysis, demographic compilation, competitive comparisons, and trending for the residential new home markets in Coastal Georgia and South Carolina. Jill, has extensive business knowledge surrounding all aspects of new home markets.

Owning and operating several companies, including Genesis Designer Homes and Best Custom Homes, has given Jill a one-of- a-kind experience for these markets.

She specializes in market research, community streetscape planning and development, community branding (amenities, landscape, and product design), IHMS knowlege, Peachtree, Buildsoft, B360, and QB for Contractors, Builder Programs within an existing or new community, setting up HOA’s (policies and budgetary details) and securing the proper management company.

Maintaining current knowledge of product demands, pricing, and buyer preferences by continually shopping the competition, reviewing sales statistics and networking are critical components of her efforts on behalf of Bald Eagle Partners.

Director of Engineering/Land Development

Stephen T. Plescow, P.E., has more than thirty-five years experience in real estate development, civil engineering, land planning, zoning and entitlements; as well as project and construction management. He has held senior management roles with national homebuilders, WCI Communities, Centex, and Toll Brothers as well as international resort developers Intrawest Corporation.

Holding a professional engineering license in Virginia and Michigan, his recent real estate development work has been primarily in the Washington D.C. metropolitan market but he also has national experience with past projects in over twenty states and international experience in Japan.

Stephen has particular expertise in the formation and management of project teams, master planning and securing complex zoning approvals and engineering entitlements and the evaluation of properties for development potential and engineering feasibility analysis. Project types include master planned residential, commercial, retail, mixed-use, multifamily residential, civic, industrial, government and recreational facilities.

Stephen earned his Civil Engineering degree with minors in Architecture and Urban Planning from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and earned a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Richmond.

Director of Marketing

Kristen Lee’s experience in marketing private communities and real estate projects has spanned the continent. From Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, Arizona to Hurricane Hole Yacht Club in Paradise Island, Bahamas to Tahoe Mountain Resorts in California, she's successfully handled the marketing communications, branding and public relations efforts for a broad geographic range of premier communities. Kristen also made her mark in Charleston, South Carolina as Director of Marketing for The Beach Company. Here, the Clemson graduate was selected by Charleston Regional Business Journal as one of the city's most outstanding business professionals.

She continued her Lowcountry focus while serving as Vice President of Marketing for Hampton Lake and Reed Development, and in 2009 launched her own full service marketing consulting group where she continues her focus on residential real estate clients. In addition to her real estate experience, Kristen has also worked for an array of clients in both the public relations and account service capacities including – Mizuno, Srixon, Ryobi Power Tools, Dunlop and BMW US Manufacturing Co. among others.

At Bald Eagle Partners, her relationships with leading creative strategists, copywriters, print and web designers, public relations specialists, media planners and other necessary personnel come together to provide results-driven value.

Facilities Manager

Martin Smith grew up in Oviedo Florida, population 3,500. The son of a teacher and a NASA engineer, instilled a desire to learn and read technical “How To” books. At the age of 6 Martin built his first boat, and at 12 built a “sail buggy”. Moving to Arizona with his mother and father, he graduated from Thunderbird High School. Martin attended Kennesaw Community College and Glendale Community College, division of Arizona State University, studying Chemistry. He worked his way through college in construction and woodworking. Fixing and repairing all the tools of his trade go hand in hand for Martin. After college, Martin found his niche in trim carpentry, making furniture and wood cabinets. Designing and building his own home from foundation to roof was a lifelong ambition come true. Martin is the Facilities Manager for BEP. In addition to reading, Martin enjoys art, engineering, dancing, sailing, gardening, cooking, food and wine.

HOA Manager & Home Building Associate

Carole Smith grew up in Cincinnati Ohio, and graduated from Forest Park High School. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati in Business Accounting. Inspired by her father who was an architect, lead her to pursue a career in Interior Design and Residential Home Building, employed by Robert Lucke Homes in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is self-taught in drafting and graphic arts. After moving to South Carolina and working in the Residential Home Building industry, Carole found her home at BEP performing many duties such as HOA manager, Interior Design/Residential Home Building and accounting responsibilities. Carole enjoys riding her horse Marco, sailing, hiking, dancing, food and wine.
